High Welfare Outdoor Bred Pork reared on farms located in the coastal areas of Norfolk near Eye. The pigs are crossbreed of Duroc and Hampshire breed offering excellent eating qualities supported by high levels of Animal Welfare.
Rare Breed Pork is typically Gloucester Old Spot, Saddleback, Berkshire, Middle White and Large Black. These breeds’ inherent qualities and carefully monitored natural feed makes for a quality and flavour of pork highly coveted by the discerning meat lover.
Our preferred breeds carry an extra bit of fat which helps to infuse moisture and a superbly distinctive flavour into the meat whilst it cooks.

Southern Pride Pork
Outdoor bred and reared on South Allenford Farm in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, North Stoke Farm in Wallingford, Oxon, and West End Farm in Bishop Canning Devizes, Wiltshire in warm roomy straw yards. Housing them on straw enables the pig to be able to forage and play in the straw yards but enables the stockmen to check them closely throughout the day and is the best way to produce the good quality meat which is neither too fat for modern tastes nor too lean to spoil eating quality.
